Dr. Pooya Nekooei

Dr. Pooya Nekooei, Founder and CEO of ​Apex Enrichment Academy, is a distinguished sports educator, coach, and former national water polo player for Iran. Holding a PhD in Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation, he currently serves as the Athletic Director at Mont'Kiara International School and has extensive experience in coaching and sports management.

Dr. Nekooei has football and swimming coaching certifications and has coached soccer, swimming, basketball, and volleyball teams in international tournaments, developing young athletes to excel at competitive levels. He also served as the head coach of the Kuala Lumpur water polo team, further showcasing his expertise in aquatic sports.

In addition to his coaching career, Dr. Nekooei has conducted extensive research on shoulder movement strength imbalance, throwing velocity and accuracy, and sports training methodologies. He is a strong advocate for integrating technology into sports performance enhancement and is currently developing a mobile app to support water polo athletes.

With a deep passion for youth development and high-quality sports education, Dr. Nekooei continues to inspire and mentor young athletes through ABC Youth Academy, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and lifelong engagement in sports.
