From your child’s first splash to their final lap
APEX Swim School is where the fear of water ends and champions are born.

Why APEX Swim School
At APEX Swim School, we believe swimming is more than just a sport, it is an essential life skill. Our programs are designed to build water confidence, develop proper technique, and improve overall fitness in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
The APEX Way: Where Fun Meets Water Confidence
We create a positive and engaging space where children feel comfortable, overcome fears, and grow step by step in our warm, welcoming pool. Through fun and engaging learning, a play-based approach, and small, achievable steps, swimmers build strong skills with confidence. Our focus on mastery learning, water safety, and supportive instructors ensures every child receives professional guidance while enjoying every lesson.

Orca Pathway
Progress at the Speed of Ability
At Apex Enrichment Academy, we believe a child’s potential shouldn't be defined by a date on a calendar. While many swim schools limit progress based strictly on age, our philosophy is different: We prioritize ability over birth year.
Our Philosophy: No Barriers, Just Growth
The Orca Pathway is a unified curriculum designed to take swimmers from their very first splash to advanced competitive techniques. Our program consists of six comprehensive levels that remain consistent across all age groups. This means the high-quality skills and technical foundations taught in each level are the same for every swimmer, whether they are in Grade 1 or Grade 6.
We don’t hold fast learners back. If your child masters a skill quickly, they move up the ladder immediately. By removing age-based ceilings, we ensure every student is constantly challenged and supported at their specific stage of development.
How the Pathway Works
While every swimmer follows the same technical roadmap toward our elite Black Orca level, we recognize that every journey starts differently:
-
Tailored Entry Points: Younger swimmers typically begin by building water confidence, floating, and basic kicking. Older swimmers or those with previous experience may jump into the pathway at a higher level based on their current comfort and technical proficiency.
-
Granular Progress: Each of our main levels includes specialized sub-levels. This allows children to celebrate "small wins" frequently, building the confidence and endurance necessary to tackle more complex strokes.
-
The Ultimate Goal: Regardless of where they start, every student is working toward the same objective—mastering the advanced swimming techniques and endurance required to become a Black Orca.
At Apex, we provide a clear, structured, and enjoyable environment where your child can learn at the right pace, building lifelong fitness and teamwork skills one stroke at a time.
Classes will begin in July/August.
The full schedule will be posted here, and we will email you when registration opens for the month. Please make sure to register in our Parent Portal and add your children to your account so you receive early email notifications when the schedule is published.
How Our Membership Works
Continuous Learning Program
At APEX Swim School, we offer a continuous learning program designed to help swimmers progress steadily and confidently. Our lessons run year-round through a monthly membership system, allowing students to develop their skills without interruptions between sessions. Each class is 40 minutes long, providing focused, high-quality instruction while keeping students engaged and energized.
Once your swimmer enrolls, their class time is reserved each month. This means your child maintains a consistent schedule while improving their skills and advancing through the swim levels.
Progression Through Levels
At APEX Swim School, every swimmer follows a structured pathway designed to build confidence, develop strong skills, and support long-term success in the water. All swimmers begin at an appropriate starting point. If your child has previous swimming experience, our instructors will assess their abilities and place them in a group that best matches their current skills.
Our program is developed by professional and national-level swimmers with PhDs in Sports Science, ensuring a high standard of instruction and a research-based approach to learning.
Progression is based on skill and individual performance, not age. As soon as a swimmer is ready, they will move forward and continue developing more advanced techniques and swim strokes without unnecessary delays.
Age groupings are used only to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment, where children can learn alongside peers while continuing to progress at their own pace.
At APEX, swimmers are continuously improving, gaining confidence, and building lifelong skills in the water.
Monthly Membership
Lessons at APEX Swim School are offered through a monthly membership designed to give your child consistent, high-quality instruction and real progress in the water. The monthly fee is $139 + HST and covers 4 lessons per month, with each lesson lasting 40 minutes. Unlike many programs that offer shorter 30-minute classes, our 40-minute sessions provide more time for skill development, practice, and individual attention.
Your child’s spot is reserved each month, allowing for structured progression, growing confidence, and steady improvement. With small class sizes, longer lesson times, and professional coaching, APEX Swim School delivers a premium experience that ensures your investment truly supports your child’s success in the water.
Billing Schedule
When you enroll, your initial payment covers your first full month of classes.
Memberships renew automatically on the 11th of each month for the following month. On that date, the card on file will be charged, so please ensure your payment information is kept up to date to avoid any interruption to your swimmer’s classes.
If you decide to withdraw from the program, you must notify us by email before the 10th of the month to stop billing for the following month. If we do not receive your withdrawal notice before the 15th, your membership will renew automatically and the monthly fee will be charged.
Please note that no refunds will be issued once a monthly charge has been processed. If you choose to withdraw your child early during a month, you will not be entitled to a refund for any remaining lessons within that month.
Make-Up Lessons & Absence Policy
Each family may receive a maximum of one make-up token per month.
All absence notifications and make-up bookings must be submitted through the Parent Portal.
If your swimmer is unable to attend a class, we kindly ask that you notify us in advance through the Parent Portal no later than 8:00 PM on the night before the class. This allows other families the opportunity to use their make-up tokens to reserve the available spot.
While we understand that occasional absences may occur due to illness or family commitments, missed classes are generally not refundable. If an absence notice is received after 8:00 PM the night before the scheduled class, it will be considered a late absence and the family will not be eligible for a make-up class or refund.
Make-up classes are not guaranteed and depend on class availability. It is the parent’s responsibility to check the make-up schedule in the Parent Portal and register their child when a spot becomes available in the same level and age category.
Make-up classes must be scheduled in advance and used within four months from the date the make-up token is issued. If a family withdraws from the swim program, all unused make-up tokens will expire upon withdrawal.
To maintain fairness and the quality of our classes, make-up lessons cannot be transferred, accumulated indefinitely, or exchanged for credits or refunds.

Frequently Asked Questions for Parents
How often are swim lessons held?
Each membership includes one lesson per week, which equals four lessons per month.
How long are the lessons?
Each swim lesson is 40 minutes long, allowing enough time for warm-up, skill instruction, and practice in a structured and safe environment.
How do swimmers move up through levels?
Swimmers progress through levels by demonstrating the required swimming skills. However, if a swimmer moves into a new age category, they will move to that age group while remaining in the same swim level they were previously in. This ensures that swimmers continue learning at the correct skill level while training with swimmers of a similar age.
Will my child keep the same schedule when they move up a level?
In most cases, yes. Because we offer multiple swim levels at the same time, swimmers can often move to the next level without changing their regular class time.
What should my child bring to class?
Swimmers should bring a swimsuit, towel, and goggles. Long hair should be tied back or covered with a swim cap.
Can parents watch the lessons?
Yes. Parents are welcome to watch lessons from the designated viewing area.
How do I enroll my child?
To begin, simply create a family profile in our Parent Portal. After registering, you will receive a welcome email with information about available classes and the enrollment process.
