Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and skilled Part-Time Multi-Sport Coaches to lead training sessions across various sports disciplines. The job location will vary depending on the facilities and school contracts with our company. Coaches will be assigned to school-based programs to ensure structured and high-quality coaching sessions for young athletes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate training sessions.
- Teach fundamental and advanced skills, ensuring skill progression.
- Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship in all sessions.
- Adapt coaching techniques to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Ensure a fun, engaging, and safe environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with school staff and Apex Enrichment Academy coordinators to maintain program quality.
- Travel to different school locations based on program assignments.
- Qualifications:
- Certification or experience in coaching at least one of the listed sports.
- Previous experience working with children and youth in a coaching or teaching role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Flexibility to work at different school locations during after-school hours.
- Lifeguard certification is required for swimming coaches.
All applicants must provide two mandatory background checks before commencing employment:
-Child Abuse Register (CAR) Check: Verifies that the applicant's name is not listed on Nova Scotia's Child Abuse Register.
-Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC): An enhanced criminal record check conducted by local police or the RCMP.
Both checks must be current—conducted within the past two years—and submitted before the employment start date. Failure to provide these documents will result in ineligibility for the position. These requirements align with Nova Scotia's Early Learning and Child Care Regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of children in care.
Salary:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $20.00 to $34.00, based on experience and qualifications.
