1. Attendance and Make-Up Classes

Regular attendance is essential for skill development and safety in the water

Missed classes are not eligible for refunds
-
Each participant is eligible for a maximum of one (1) make-up class per calendar month
-
Make-up classes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability
-
Make-up classes may be offered only when:
-
Advance notice of absence is provided where possible
-
Space is available in another suitable class
-

Make-up classes must be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe and cannot be carried forward indefinitely
-
No-shows without notice are not eligible for make-up classes
2. Late Arrival
-
Participants arriving late may miss part of the lesson
-
Lessons will end at the scheduled time regardless of arrival time
-
For safety reasons, excessively late participants may not be permitted to join the class
3. Cancellation and Facility Closure
APEX Swim School reserves the right to cancel classes due to:

Severe weather conditions
-
Facility or mechanical issues
-
Staff illness or unforeseen circumstances
In such cases:
-
Families will be notified as soon as possible
-
A make-up class or credit may be offered at our discretion
4. Weather Policy

Classes will generally run as scheduled during typical weather conditions
-
In the event of severe weather (e.g., snowstorms), closure decisions will be communicated via email or registered contact methods
-
Missed classes due to weather closures may be eligible for make-up or credit at our discretion
5. Class Placement and Progression

Participants are placed in classes based on skill level and instructor assessment, not age alone
-
Instructors may move participants to a different level or group at any time to ensure safety and appropriate progression
-
Advancement is based on skill mastery, not time spent in a level
-
APEX Swim School’s assessment decisions are final
6. Parent Viewing and Facility Use

A designated viewing area is available for parents and guardians
-
Parents must not enter the pool deck or interfere with lessons unless authorized
-
Parents are responsible for supervising their children:

Before lessons
-
After lessons
-
In changing and viewing areas
-

Siblings must be supervised at all times
7. Code of Conduct
All participants and families are expected to:

Follow all facility and safety rules
-
Respect instructors, staff, and other participants
-
Maintain safe and appropriate behavior at all times
APEX Swim School reserves the right to remove any participant for:

Unsafe behavior
-
Disruptive conduct
-
Failure to follow instructions
Removal may occur without refund.
8. Instructor Assignment

APEX Swim School reserves the right to assign or change instructors as needed
-
All instructors are trained to deliver consistent program quality
9. Personal Belongings
-
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings
-
APEX Swim School is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items
-
Valuables should be left at home whenever possible
10. Waitlist and Enrollment

When classes are full, participants may be placed on a waitlist
-
Waitlist placement does not guarantee enrollment
-
Families will be contacted if a spot becomes available
11. Communication
-
Important updates will be sent via email or through the registration system
-
Families are responsible for ensuring their contact information is accurate and up to date
12. Policy Compliance
Failure to follow these policies may result in:

Suspension from classes
-
Removal from programs without refund
13. Acknowledgment
By registering for APEX Swim School programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Program Policies & Guidelines.
