Refund Policy

1. General Refund Policy

​Apex Enrichment Academy is committed to delivering high-quality sports programs and activities. We recognize that circumstances may change, and we aim to handle refund requests fairly and transparently. This policy outlines the terms for refunds across our programs, in compliance with Nova Scotia's consumer protection laws.​

2. Registration Fees

  • Non-Refundable Fees: All registration fees are non-refundable unless ​Apex Enrichment Academy cancels the program.​

3. Refunds for Withdrawals

Refunds for participant withdrawals are issued based on the following conditions:

  • Before Program Start: Participants may withdraw up to five business days prior to the program start date for a full refund. ​halifax.ca

  • After Program Start: No refunds will be issued after the program has commenced.​

4. Program Cancellations or Rescheduling

  • Program Cancellation: If ​Apex Enrichment Academy cancels a program before it begins, participants will receive a full refund.​

  • Rescheduled Programs: If a program is rescheduled or modified, participants who cannot attend the new schedule may request a full refund or a credit for future sessions.​

5. Missed Classes & Make-Up Sessions

  • Missed Classes: No refunds will be provided for missed classes due to personal reasons.​

  • Class Cancellations by Club: If a class is canceled by ​Apex Enrichment Academy (e.g., due to weather, facility issues, or instructor unavailability), we will attempt to reschedule or offer a make-up session. If a make-up session is unavailable, a pro-rated credit may be issued for future sessions.​

6. Injury or Medical Withdrawals

  • Medical Withdrawals: If a participant is unable to continue due to a medical condition or injury, a pro-rated credit may be offered upon submission of a doctor's note. Refunds for medical withdrawals will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to an administrative fee.​

7. Refund Processing & Timeline

  • Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days.​

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method or as a club credit for future registrations.​

8. Exceptions & Special Circumstances

  • Special Cases: ​Apex Enrichment Academy reserves the right to evaluate refund requests in special cases, such as relocation, family emergencies, or exceptional circumstances. Any special refund considerations must be requested in writing and will be reviewed by club management.​
